Online Casino Vs Addiction……….

Many organizations call gambling addictive. But there are other things that need to be attended at priority basis instead of stopping people from enjoying a game at online casino. These other things often lead to years of therapy sessions, unlike online casino.

Many people say that gambling is disastrous. Recently, I happened to go through some magazines that recommended abstinence from betting. They say gaming affects the brain and that you tend to become an addict. They also say this syndrome is high if you play in online casino. Recently, many countries banned betting as it spoils the youth. Other states banned online casinos to prevent frauds.

But is there any real logic behind such thinking? I mean, nobody can spoil you unless you want to get spoilt. And frauds are everywhere. Even in the highly reputed government departments, you can find cheats and frauds thriving. Are people utilizing the state resources for their personal ends fair enough?

Banning the games leads to even more corruption. The games run backdoors. People are even more inclined towards the games when they can’t find it. This leads to unfair games and thereby chaos in the minds of youth. What if they start playing these online casino games in the school library? We cannot keep the fault with the youth. They are curious and they fancy everything. I cannot see how playing games can lead to corrupt minds.

In our state, we play games to get together and to wind off. We make friends at the blackjack and we meet our friends at the pool table. I wonder what other options are left to the youth who is not allowed to play betting games. They too need excitement and may take up incorrect fancies if not allowed to enjoy.

The NGOs say that online casino players tend to ruin their lives in the expectation of big winnings. How correct is this? I have seen people running after a particular course for years and still failing to procure a college seat. They waste their precious years trying and trying for the same thing. They could have easily made their lives in some other field if they had been smart enough. Going crazy and wasting the important resources over a single thing: Is this not addiction? Then how harmful is the online gaming?

Many workplaces and colleges do not let you use networking sites from there premises. The last thing some people do in a day is to check their mails and all the networking sites where they are members for new posts. Whenever they wake up during the night, say for water, they will check the mail again. This is true; I have many friends who do this. The first thing they would do in the morning is to check the mails again. Such repetitive actions are called compulsive disorders in the medical fields. Does this mean that email is more dangerous than the online casinos?

Then there are people who can’t live without their cell phones. They brought the cell phones so that they can stay in touch with their friends and colleagues. Then they start talking and checking for messages every now and then: they check it during the sleep, they check it on the breakfast table, on the road, during driving, office, schools everywhere. They are bound to be distracted from their studies and work. Then this happens that they can hear their phones ringing even if it is not. Such problem is termed hallucination in the medical terminology. Is online casino more disastrous?

The bottom line is not that I am trying to prove anything. This is just an analysis of how bad things can be. There are many things and habits that are more addictive than the online casino. But then, they are accepted in the society. Then why are you not allowed to have a game peacefully? Why is there such a hue and cry about the online casino and addiction?
